User Agreement

This User Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal contract between Barbarika Support Private Limited ("Legal Lancer," "we," "us," "our") and you ("User," "you," "your"), governing your use of Legal Lancer's freelancing platform.

Services Provided

Legal Lancer operates a freelancing website connecting businesses with professionals. Our Platform facilitates project posting, communication, and transaction management.

User Responsibilities

You agree to maintain accurate account information and comply with all applicable laws and our platform's terms of use. Prohibited activities may result in account suspension or legal action.

Payment and Dispute Resolution

Users manage payments and disputes via their dashboard. Legal Lancer reserves the right to make final decisions on payment disputes and refunds.

Updates to Terms

Terms may be updated periodically; continued use of our Platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or through our Platform.

Intellectual Property

By posting content on Legal Lancer, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content. Legal Lancer respects intellectual property rights and responds to infringement claims promptly.

Service Fees

Legal Lancer may charge service fees on transactions facilitated through our Platform. By using our services, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described on our Platform.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Legal Lancer provides the Platform on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to our services, and we disclaim any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, Legal Lancer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Non-Circumvention

Users agree not to circumvent the platform to avoid paying fees on transactions facilitated through Legal Lancer.

Independent Contractor Relationship

Freelancers using Legal Lancer are independent contractors and not employees, agents, partners, or joint ventures of Legal Lancer.

Compliance and Legal Action

Users must adhere to platform rules. Non-compliance may lead to account suspension and legal action as deemed necessary.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by Indian law. Any dispute arising from or relating to this Agreement shall be exclusively resolved in the courts of Guwahati, Assam.
